Hi, I’m Robyn, founder of Monomyth Studios.
Before this, I worked as a criminal investigator. I was trained to notice patterns, especially the ones others missed. I don’t think that ever turns off.
Years later, walking my own kids through high school outside the traditional system, I started to feel something I couldn’t quite shake.
That intuitive sense that something important was being missed.
I would watch them try to fit into systems that didn’t quite see them.
I could see their effort. I could see what they were capable of. But it didn’t show up in the ways that seemed to matter.
And over time, you start to feel what that does to them.
Their confidence shifts. Their sense of direction gets blurry.
It never felt like a lack of ability. It felt like a lack of clear seeing.
When learning started to shift, when their strengths were taken seriously and the work actually meant something, things began to change.
Not all at once. But enough to notice. Confidence started to come back. Direction started to form.
What I’ve come to believe is that most young people don’t need more curriculum. They need better insight. A way to understand how they actually think, how they learn, and where their energy naturally goes.
That’s what led to Signal Map™.
